We believe the Bible to be the absolute truth! It is the foundation of every decision we make here at Cornerstone. Here at CCF, we strive to live the truth on a daily basis, so that others see something different in us. This in turn gives us the opportunity to proclaim the truth to those who are not yet Christians.
Cornerstone Community Fellowship's core values are based on truths revealed in God's word. These are the fundamental principles that will guide us in every part of our ministry. Everything we do should reflect our core values. They must be faithfully applied to every ministry as we attempt to accomplish the stated mission and vision of this church. By establishing these core values, we promote unity within the body, we bring clarity to God's ministry at Cornerstone, and we ensure that these values are passed on to future generations.
We value the supremacy of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:16-18). He alone is to receive all the honor and glory. Anything that is accomplished is because of Him.
We value the teachings of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is the only source of truth we have. We will strive for Biblical accuracy with emphasis on the practical application of the Word to the daily lives of God's people.
We value the importance of prayer (Philippians 4:6-7). Jesus modeled before His disciples the importance of prayer. Without communication with the Lord, the body will not know His direction for the church.
We value family (Hebrews 2:11). Strong families will result in a strong church. We will provide opportunities to strengthen marriages, homes, and individuals.
We value relationships (Acts 2:42-47). There is nothing sweeter than Christian fellowship which is the glue that holds the ministry together. Different opportunities to make new friends and strengthen these bonds will be made available to the body.
We value servanthood (Philippians 2:3-4). Jesus Christ is the perfect example of a servant and He calls us today to clothe ourselves with humility and to put off the sin of pride.
We value excellence (Colossians 3:23-24). We will seek to always improve everything we do, understanding that the quality of our ministry is a reflection to the community of our Lord. Excellence enhances the reputation of God.
We value stewardship (1 Chronicles 29:11). Everything we have is on loan from God. He owns it all.
We value Biblical counseling (Romans 15:14). We will strive to give accurate and relevant counsel from God's word to help people deal with the problems they face, realizing that man's greatest need is a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We value worship (Exodus 23:25). Worship is celebrating the presence of God in the use of different means of expression that are consistent with the nature of God.
